Metaphysics
The Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that relates to the nature of existence , the being and the world . It could be said that it is the foundation of philosophy and in fact, Aristotle called it as the “first philosophy” and sometimes simply called it by the name of “wisdom” . Metaphysics refers to the subject that deals with the first causes and the principles of things. It is a science that asks questions such as: “What is the nature of reality?” ,“How does the world exist and what is its origin or source of creation?” , “Does the world exist outside the mind?” , “How can the incorporeal mind affect the physical body?” , “If things exist, what is their objective nature?” , “Is there a God (or many gods, or no gods at all)?” . It is a complex science that involves many questions at once.

Definition
Metaphysics is the science that is responsible for conducting studies with respect to being and God , which manifests itself in duality of the positive and the negative . He looks for a way to make man understand that he is made in the image and likeness of God, but that they are linked only through the energy that comes from him. It is a science that studies what we cannot explain through science, the spiritual area that matter has, and also studies being from an absolute point of view .
Etymology
When we refer to the etymology of metaphysics we must know that the word comes from the late Greek μετὰφυσικά which has metaphysical meaning, and that it means “beyond physics “ . The word ” meta ” means beyond and the word “phisika” refers to the physical and the material , in other words, ” beyond the physical or material .”
What do you study
Metaphysics is responsible for studying the essence that things or matter have , everything that is not possible to touch , in other words, what is not tangible and that cannot be seen through our senses. Study nature , the reality of things, freedom , anguish and duty . Currently he also studies everything related to the esoteric and the mystical, seeking to give spiritual answers and self-help.
What is it for
It is a science that helps us to obtain an explanation of all those things that we cannot see or touch , everything that goes beyond physics and that is invisible to our physical senses . It serves to study the spiritual mental , which on many occasions we cannot understand or explain, but that we have daily in our lives. It helps us to understand how to have dominion over our person and the outside world , to open our consciousness to understand and gives us the ways and techniques to be able tomodify our surroundings in a positive way .
Source
The origin of the word is in ancient Greece , some three hundred years before Christ and it is attributed to Andronicus of Rhodes who, when ordering the books of Aristotle , failed to make a classification of the books that were part of the metaphysics within of logic , morals or physics , so he decided to place them after the books that dealt with physics. However, metaphysics as such predates Aristotle , and already appears in pre-Socratic philosophers or in Plato himself .
History
The history of metaphysics begins with Aristotle for whom it was the first philosophy , the one that sought to find the first causes with respect to being. It was a science that approached the divine , God and the absolute , deriving in the theological and cosmological line , which was greatly used by the Christian religion in the Middle Ages with the scholasticism headed by Saint Thomas Aquinas .
Immanuel Kant in his book Foundations of the metaphysics of customs developed a significant treatise on morals from the reflection of metaphysics as a discipline of thought. Some time later, the German philosopher Martin Heidegger reacted against metaphysics because he considered it as a doctrine of forgetting being. At present , metaphysics has come to create different reinterpretations of the mystical-esoteric concept , which tries to find answers to all the spiritual concerns that man has.
Beginning
The principles of metaphysics are as follows:
- Principle of mentalism : the whole is mind , the universe is mental . This principle is the basis that tells us that there is only one God in the universe .
- Principle of correspondence : as above is below, as below is above. It allows us to understand how and why negative situations arise and is key to finding solutions to problems.
- Vibration principle : nothing is immobile , everything moves , everything vibrates. It says that the universe is not firm or stable and that everything that exists is in constant movement and transformation.
- Principle of polarity : it allows to produce changes in life , because according to the principle in the universe everything is double and everything has its opposite pair.
- Principle of rhythm : everything has movement in the universe, an advance and a retreat . Life begins with birth , then growth , development and death follow , and it is a constantly repeating cycle.
- Principle of cause and effect : everything happens according to the Law of the Universe and that is why what is lived in the present has been generated at some point in life.
- Generation principle : it says that everything has its beginning and its gestation and that attitudes can be developed always remembering that the universe is generated by a double polarity.
Medieval metaphysics
In the medieval era, metaphysics developed together with the theological conception that said that God was a transcendent , perfect being and was the center of everything that happened around. The foundations of the substance in things were the essence of spirituality and especially of the immortality of the soul that man had. Its main representative was Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas Aquinas .
Spiritual metaphysics
Spiritual metaphysics asserts that man is doing badly in life because he is full of negative thoughts . It is a positive way of life , it is not a thought nor is it considered a theory . It is basically a school that helps and teaches people how to be happy in life, based on some concepts from practical philosophy . It is considered the art of living and being happy , it helps to change the patterns of behavior in order to eliminate defects and to learn to develop virtuesgrowing in the personal area and helping the planet at the same time .
Quantum metaphysics
It is the area of metaphysics that tells us about the energy that is responsible for connecting the body and soul with the universe . It is not a different way of creating science and it is not a technique either, but it is considered as an unlimited power that is responsible for taking what is closest to the earthly plane and the energy that can be transmitted to transform it into quantum physics .
Who is the father of metaphysics
Aristotle is considered the true father of metaphysics because he was the first philosopher who systematized it by relating it to knowledge and organizing them in hierarchies.

- George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel who considered theological metaphysics for the same purpose as religion.
- Immanuel Kant : considered metaphysics as the study of the Whole, to obtain the most general principles of science.
