Backhoe Loader

The backhoe is an industrial and mechanical machine that is used to achieve large excavations in all types of terrain. It has an excavation bucket located at the end of an articulated arm in two different parts. Typically this arm is attached to the back of a tractor and is used on earthworks, for construction, piping, and drainage.

History

In 1950, the well-known crawler tractor was used in construction . This instrument had proven to be a very useful piece of equipment, however, the experts of the companies were looking for ways to increase its usefulness , efficiency and versatility . At that time the company Essex located in England and known by the name of Whitlock Bros . He assured his customers and the world that they had succeeded in creating the world’s first backhoe loader. The company had created an accessory called Dinjum Digger , and conducted a series of experiments in 1951. Later, the company incorporated a hydraulic loaderthus creating the first backhoe loader . Joseph Cyril Bamford , was the founder of the JBC company and had extensive experience in the construction of hydraulic loaders. On a trip to Norway he saw the great potential of the backhoe, bought one and brought it to his place of residence to test its capabilities. In 1953, he had managed to improve the design and had built the first accessory included in the machine. It manufactured the product as the JBC MK1 and in 1958, it was able to launch the first integrated backhoe loader.
